Jonathan has been teaching a Road Scholar (previously Elderhostel) program at Amigo Centre for the past number of years, at least 7 or 8 times. His passion for plants and the Lewis and Clark Trail is inspiring. When I first came to Amigo, I wondered why we hosted a Road Scholar program on the Lewis and Clark Trail since we are no where close to it. After meeting Jonathan and listening to his stories, I felt transported to the trail. I am linking his website here for those that are interested in gardening or Lewis and Clark. He also has a book that he hopes to be published this fall.

Thanks for sharing a bit more about Jonathan. Road Scholar seems to summon some of the most interesting and creative people from within our networks to share with the participants who visit our grounds...pretty cool idea to highlight them and share them with others.
