I can't really believe that it's over, even though I'm feeling the effects of long days, hot weather and a noisy camp. It was a great one, though. The summer staff was energetic and ever-positive, especially as they faced obstacles and challenges. We had some wonderful campers grace us with their presence over the past few months. We were blessed with camp pastors who shared how big God has been in their own lives, and also how to let God do some big things in each of our lives. Summer staff added a lot to worship services as well with humorous dramas and energetic music.
Now that things are quieting down, I've been taking some moments to reflect over it all. I certainly enjoyed watching the weeks unfold after spending time gathering resources and making plans.
